Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is updates to three known models and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, that is replacing the Plus. If waiting in line on release day isn’t really your style, and you still want to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19th release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after a long wait (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, the new A19 chip is faster and more energy-efficient, particularly when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a huge jump in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
About the camera, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more refined.
